After deciding that he probably wouldn't make it as a rocket scientist Robin set off for art college, emerging some years later as a fully fledged illustrator. He has since worked with many different clients on editorial, publishing and design projects. He loves old stuff, including vintage travel posters, book jackets and other printed ephemera from the 40's, 50's and 60's and enjoys creating bold, graphic pictures with textures and tones by hand, before finishing them digitally.
His favourite word is meticulous, he loves a good sunset and the smell of pencil shavings. He lives with his family in Sussex, near the South Downs National Park where he likes to go looking for owls.
